Where can I purchase tickets for DICE events safely?
You can only purchase DICE tickets via our app or website. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. You can save events, share them with your DICE contacts, add them to a DICE Group, or set reminders for tickets going on sale, all via our app, so you never miss an update. For certain events that sell out, you can add yourself to the wait list for sold-out shows for a chance to buy tickets from another fan who can no longer go and has returned their ticket.
If tickets are sold out for an event, is it safe to purchase from a third-party ticket website?
Our tickets are not compatible with any third-party ticket resale sites. We only recommend signing up for our wait list in order to purchase tickets to sold-out events. DICE does not participate in re-selling with any third-party sites as our tickets are only accessible via our app using the unique QR code that can only be activated on the day of the event. This is done to prevent scalpers and scammers and you can find more details in our Purchase Terms here under NON RESALE OF TICKETS. We are not liable and cannot be held responsible for the sale of inauthentic tickets. Our wait list feature puts fans first and ensures they aren’t being charged more than the actual ticket price. The wait list is the only way to ensure you are purchasing a genuine ticket that will give you entry into your favourite events!
If we suspect that any DICE tickets are being purchased or resold for commercial purposes, or if we detect any other suspicious activity from your DICE account, we have the right to remove or revoke your tickets without reimbursement, including any tickets you might have transferred using DICE’s ‘transfer to a friend’ feature. For any tickets transferred in this way, we will provide a full refund to the original payment card account holder in accordance with our purchase terms.
I have tickets to an event but I can no longer attend/I don’t want to use them. Where can I resell them?
If the wait list feature is switched on for sold-out shows, you can return your tickets to DICE using this feature for the price that you paid for the ticket. This allows you to securely receive a refund and another fan to purchase a ticket and attend the event.
If DICE’s ‘transfer to a friend’ feature is available for an event, you will be able to transfer tickets to friends and family or people you know, so long as they are a DICE contact. You will be fully responsible for organising payment for the ticket separately and directly with the recipient, and DICE is not liable to you or anyone else for any refunds.
In order to transfer a ticket, the sender will require the recipient’s phone number. To prevent scammers from accessing your account, please do not share any other of your personal credentials or login codes that can be used to access your account.
It is considered a breach of DICE’s purchase terms to sell any ticket using this feature for greater than the price that you paid for the ticket. By purchasing a ticket on DICE, you also agree (in accordance with our purchase terms) to use the tickets purchased for your personal use only and not for any commercial purpose, and doing so will result in confiscation, invalidation or cancellation of the ticket without refund or compensation.
Is it safe to buy DICE tickets via social media?
We don’t recommend purchasing tickets from unknown parties via social media. Unfortunately, there is no way to authenticate if someone is selling genuine tickets and this can lead to scams and fraudulent transactions. DICE cannot be held responsible for any mis-sold tickets or scams and would only recommend using DICE to purchase DICE event tickets or alternatively, for sold-out events, using our wait list feature or a ticket transfer from someone you know.
There will be individuals who will present screenshots of what appear to be ‘genuine’ tickets, but there is no way to authenticate this. If purchased, you do this at your own risk. We do not support this way of reselling tickets and are not liable for any losses you may suffer. DICE tickets are only available for use in our app and will never be emailed to you separately.
I’ve bought tickets on social media/a third-party site but now I'm concerned about whether they are genuine?
Any authentic DICE tickets have to be in your DICE account in the app. If you have any concerns regarding the legitimacy of your DICE tickets please contact us through our contact form and a member of our Fan Support team will be happy to check and verify for you. It’s important to note that only tickets purchased through our app, website, wait list and ticket transfer features are covered by our DICE T&Cs.
