We believe tickets belong in the hands of fans, not resellers, and that they should only ever be sold at face value. That’s why we have the wait list: if you can’t make it to a sold-out event, you can add your ticket to the wait list to be purchased by another fan – no drama, no rip-offs. If the ticket is sold, you get a full refund.
Not all events will have the wait list function switched on, even if the event has sold out – and that decision is always at the discretion of the event organiser, not DICE. To see if your event has the wait list enabled, check your ticket by opening the app and tapping the ticket icon at the bottom of the screen.
If you want to add your ticket to the wait list, just follow these steps.
- Open the DICE app. Tap the ticket icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the event.
- Press Return ticket to wait list.
- Select how many tickets you want to sell, and tap Return ticket.
When you successfully put your ticket on the wait list, you give up your right to the ticket, and the ticket will be removed from your account. The wait list is effectively a queue, so bear in mind there may be more tickets available to buy than there are fans in the queue, and therefore adding your ticket to the wait list doesn’t guarantee that it will sell. And if you choose to return more than one ticket, there’s a chance that only a portion of your tickets will be resold.
If your ticket is snapped up by another fan, we’ll send you an email to let you know, and issue you a full refund. The money should hit your account in 5–10 working days.
If no one purchases your tickets, we’ll return them to your account and you won’t receive a refund. If you’re sure you can’t use them yourself, why not use our send to a friend function.
