How to send tickets to a friend

First, double-check that you have your friend’s number saved in your phone and that they have a DICE account registered with that number. Tickets can only be transferred between DICE accounts – it’s part of how we keep tickets in the hands of fans and away from resellers. Ticket transfers can only be done through the DICE app, so make sure you have it installed on your phone.

Then, just follow these steps:

  1. Open the DICE app and tap the ticket icon at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select the event.
  3. Press Send ticket to a friend.
  4. Select the person you’d like to transfer the ticket to from your phone’s contact list.
  5. Choose the number of tickets you’d like to transfer and press Send ticket.

It’s important that you send the ticket before the deadline set by the event organisers, which is usually a few hours before the event. The exact time will be shown on your ticket.

If you’re attending the event with the person you want to transfer the ticket to and, for any reason, you can’t transfer the ticket – either because the deadline has passed or the person doesn’t have a DICE account – please note that you can keep it in your account and activate it instead. You’ll need to arrive together, and it’s important to note that once tickets are activated, they can’t be transferred.

Some event organisers may decide not to enable the Send to a friend feature, or you may find that the transfer deadline has already passed in the app. If you still need to transfer your ticket, send us a message as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to help.
